Humanitarian MUN 2019 and Tour

For the Humanitarian MUN 2019, the topic chosen is
The “road map” to a Perfect World

The beautiful city of Baku has been chosen in Azerbaijan for the Humanitarian Conference.

Azerbaijan’s capital is the architectural child of Paris Few cities in the world are changing as quickly and nowhere else in Eurasia do East and West blend as seamlessly.

So the perfect backdrop of such an important Conference.

At its heart, the UNESCO listed Old City (İçәri Şəhər) lies within an exotically crenellated arc of the fortress wall.

Around this are gracefully illuminated stone mansions and pedestrianized tree-lined streets filled with exclusive boutiques.

Friday 14th June 2019

Arrive at Heydar International Airport

Transfer to Hotel

Opening Ceremony of the Humanitarian MUN 2019

Followed by a special cultural performance to welcome the Delegations and then welcome dinner


Baku is popular for its Caspian-front bulvar (promenade), where greens and opal blues make a mockery of Baku’s desert-ringed locations.

Student will be served a packed Lunch and Snack breaks

Full Day Conference

17:30 hours head out for a city tour on a luxury coach with an English speaking guide.


Sunday 16th June 2019

Closing Ceremony with Awards to recognise achievements

Local Students will do a special performance for their guests

18:00 hours head out for a city tour on a luxury coach with an English

Boat ride in the Caspian Sea. Amazing photos can be clicked on this boat ride.

Head to the beautiful ferris wheel, called the Baku Eye. View the entire city from the top.


Monday 17th June 2019

Tour of Baku

Full Day Baku Tour

The students will also get to visit the world heritage site – Icheri Shehar or the Old City.

Explore the history as you roam in the narrow streets of the Old City.

You will be taken to the Shirvanshah Palace, which is now a museum.

You can buy souvenirs and sweets here.

Visit Carpet Factory and see masterpieces being made.

Lunch and Dinner will be at city restaurants.

Overnight at hotel

Tuesday 18th June 2019


Drive from hotel and skirt Baku’s beautiful coastline.

Visit Yanar Dag Mountain where natural gas has been burning for several thousand years.

This trip also includes a visit the historical Ateshgah and other archaeological sites.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant

Pack up and leave for Airport

Tuesday 18th June 2019 .... Flight back home
